Historicity: The idol of this ancient temple is very distinct. It is
believed to belong to the eighth century of the Vikram era. In the past, this was a very
rich and prosperous city and it seems that many Jain families lived in it. This new temple
is renovated and this idol is installed in it. A fair is held here on the tenth day of the
bright half of the mouth of Magsar every year.
