Azimgarh Tirth

 Mulnayak:  Copper colored idol of shri Chintamani Parsvanath Bhagwan

How to Reach: One should stay at Jiaganj and visit azimganj after crossing the river Bhagirathi. Jiaganj is  4 Kms from Murshidabad and 20 Kms from Behrampur.

 Historicity: The idols of precious stones is a special feature of this Tirth situated on the bank of the river bhagirathi. There are 7 other Jain temples. One temple is made out of  ‘touch stone’ ( used for testing purity of gold).
