Bhagawan Ajahara Parshavanath

Mulnayak: Nearly 46 cms. high, saffron - colored idol of Bhagawan Ajahara Parshavanath in the Padmasana posture.

How to reach: On the outskirts of the village Anjar Una, the nearest railway station is at a distance of five kilometers and Delwada (Gujrat)is at a distance of two and a half kilometers. There are good roads from Una and Delwada. Buses and cars can easily go to the temple. There are dharmashalas and bhojanashalas.
Historicity: The Ajar disease of King Ajaypal was cured by gandhodak. And as a mark of gratitude, the King got the idol installed in the temple. Hundreds of ancient stepped-wells are present here. A bell found here bears the carvings. ‘Shri Ajahara Parshvanath, the year 1034 of the Vikram era, Raichand Jechand Shah’. This proves that this is a very ancient place which was prosperous, The Gandhodak (water used in bathing the idol) cured the disease (ajar) of the king. therefore, the idol is  know as Ajahara Parshwnath. Even today, many diseases of faithful devotees are cured by the water used in bathing the idol and miracles happen. The water used in bathing the idol is regarded by Jains and non-Jains an nectar. In the present times fair is held here every year on the fifteenth day of the bright half of the month of Kartak, on the fifteenth day of the bright half of the month a Chaitra and on the tenth day of the dark half of the month of Magsar.
