was formally installed under the auspices of His Holiness Kapilvijay Kevali. Once upon a
time there were a hundred and twenty - five temples, one hundred and twenty - five wells
and many stepped-wells. This city was destroyed in the year 1353. Under the inspiration of
Dharmachandbhai Kamdar this village was resettled in the year. 1872 of the Vikram era. The
last renovation was accomplished under the auspices of Acharya Shri Bhadrasurisvarji
Maharaj Saheb. On the tenth day of the bright half of the month of Jeth in the year 2027.
Once the Shravakas tried to shift the idol but When this idol was being taken out from the
cellar, it become very heavy by divine power and wild bees began to fly In view of the
these miracles, the plan to shift the idol was abandoned and Shravakas again reinstalled
the idol at the same place. Even today, faithful devotees come here and have their desires
fulfilled. A fair is held here every year on the tenth day of the dark half of the month
of Magsar.
