Shri Bhujpur Tirth

 

Mulnayak: Bhagawan Chintamani Parshvanath in the Padmasana posture.

How to reach: It is in the Bhujpur village. This tirth is at a distance of 16 kilometers from the Mundra tirth and 42 kilometers from the Bhadreshvar tirth. Bus service and private vehicles are available. The pilgrimage is comfortable. There is an upashraya in front of the temple. There are good board and lodging provisions.

Historicity: At the entrance of the village, on the wall of the temple, there is a painting of Vastupal Tejpal. It gives an idea of the antiquity and splendor of the temple. The temple is beautifully constructed. According to historical records, when the parent of Vastupal’s died, he decided to go on a pilgrimage to Siddhachalji to soothe his grief. Before going, he thought of burying his wealth under the ground. As he went to bury his wealth under a tree, he saw there a large copper vessel, full of wealth. Anupamadevi said to Vastupal "If you want to go to a low state of life, bury the wealth under the ground and if you want to go to a high state of life, beautify the hills with summits" As a result, the temples of Girnar and Delwada and the tirth of Bhujpur came into existence.  There is a two-storied temple dedicated Bhagawan Mahavir Swami and. In the cellar, there is an idol of Bhagawan Kesariyaji.
