How
to Reach: It is
on the main road outside the Shankheshvar Village. The nearest railway station of Viramgam
is at a distance of 55 kilometers. The bus service and private vehicles are available for
traveling on the road from Viramgam to Radhanpur. This Padmavati tirth has its own
Dharmashala and Bhojanashalas which are very well managed. In its compound, there is very
good garden for children.
Historicity: Under the auspicious of the outstanding saint Acharya
Shrimad Hemchandrasurisvarji and under the inspiration and with blessings of Muni Shri
Lakendravijaji and Muni Shri Lekhendravijayji, this new temple was built in the year 2050
of the Vikram era. The idol of Shankheshvar Parshvanath is installed in the upper storey
of this pinnacle temple. it is nearly 125 cms. high. The great festival of installation of
the idol in temple lasted for 12 days. In the Shankheshvar Tirth, there is the main temple of Shankheshvar Parshvanath, the
temple of 108 Bhaktivihar Parshvanath, the Agam temple, the Bhaktamar temple, the
Gurumandir etc. besides this temple.
