sacred place on the dam on the bank of the Shetrunjay river on the way to Talaja from
Palitana, is at distance of only 8 kilometers from Palitana, Pilgrims can go there in bus or horse cart from. There are Dharmashala,
bhojanashalas and an upashraya.
Art and Architecture:
Historicity: This large Jain temple was built under the instructions of
His Holiness Acharya Vijayanandsurisavarji. The main idol is huge and attractive. This
temple was formally installed on the tenth day of the bright half of the month of Vaishakh
in the year 2030 of the Vikram era.
