Mulnayak: Nearly 91 cms. high, white - colored idol of Bhagawan Adishwar in the Padmasana posture.

How to reach: The tirth is on the main road of Vallabhipur. Dhola Junction the nearest railway station, is at a distance 19 kilometers from here. This sacred place is on the Ahmedabad - Palitana main road. Palitana is at a distance of nearly 50 kilometers from here. Buses and taxis are readily. There are boarding and lodging facilities at this place.


Historicity: The ancient name of Vallabhipur was Vamilpur. It was the capital of the kings of the Maurya dynasty. This sacred place has a very old history. In the year 510 of the Vikram era, Devardhigani Kshamsharman and other 500 Acharyas put the Agams into script for the first time. This ancient and historical sacred place was finally consecrated by Acharya Nemisurisvarji. It is said that once upon a time, this place was at the foot of the sacred place Shartuanjaya. It was here that the book ‘Shetrunjay Mahatmya’ was written by Acharya Dhaneshwar Surji. In basement  cellar of the temple, there are idols of Devardhigani Kshamashraman and other five hundred Acharyas In the village, there is another temple of Bhagawan Parshvanath.
