Mulnayak: 5.5  meters high idol of Bhagwan Bahubali.

Historicity:  five and  half  meters idol of Bhagwan Bahubali of black grantie is very attractive. Earlier this place was not approachable due to a split in the rock and thick vegetation. In 1950, Gommatgiri Tirthkshetra committee in mysore took charge and cleared he vegetation and the clift in the rock was breached. Now this unique Bahubali stratue is freely accessible by way of ascending a steep flight of steps cut into the rock. The mahamastakaabhiseka is performed in Sep/October every year.
