How to reach: koppal taluk is in raichur district and 71 Kms from Gadag and 37 Kms from hosepet. The Parsvanath basdi is  about 3 Kms from the local bus stand at the foothills.

Art and architecture: parsvanath basdi   

Historicity: This place was a great tirth center during 10 - 16 CAD. at present, only Parsvanath basdi is underregular  active worship. The other jain temples are; bahadur basdi(dedicated to brahmdev); maadnoor basdi and a cave temple near sidhheshwar math. Parsvanath basdi is a simple structure. A choubisi with bhagwan rishabdev in center is preserved in this temple. The 3 feet idol of Bhagwan parsvanath in kayotsarg posture of 12 CAD is also here.

    In bahadur basdi, an ancient idol of brahmyaksh is there.  in the cave temple of 11 CAd, the charan , an idol of tirthanakar and brahmyaksh are there. maadanoor temple is about 9 kms from this place. At this temple, we can see the bronze idols of brahmayaksh and padmavati of 13 and 16 CAD. there are two bronze panch-balayatias with mulnayakBhagwanShantinath and Bhagwan Ajitnath.
