How to reach: Pattadakal is 29 Kms from Badami and 21 Kms from Aihole. badami is on Hubli-Sholapur railway line. Tourist with their own arrangements are advised to take the Bagalkot-aihole-pattadakal route. this tirth is on the bank of river Malprabha. The Jain temples are about half a Kilometer towards badami  from the Bus stop near the group of Hindu temple dedicated to sanagmeshwar; Jambooling, Kashi visvanath, galagnath ji. The jain temple is by the side of the wall of a church.

Historicity: this temple was built in  8 CAD by rastrkut kings.. this temple is made of sand stone in south Indian style. this temple is in a ruined condition but still presents a fine example of temple art and architecture. the carvings of two elephants with Mala and coconut are very impreesive. This temple is under the protection of archological deptt. and is not under active worship.
