Shri Bahubali Tirth

Mulnayak: Nearly 9-meter high, white-colored idol of Bhagwan Bahubali in the Khadgasana posture.

How to Reach: It is in the shadow of the Nana hill. The nearest railway station of Hathaklangade on the Kolhapur-Miraj road is at a distance of 6 kilometers. It is 27 Kms from Kolhapur. Bus service and private vehicles are available. Board and lodging provisions are there near the temple.

Historicity: The tirth is the land of penance of many ascetics. According to Digambars, this Kshetra is regarded as an Atishay Kshetra. Nearly three hundred and fifty years ago, great and learned Digambar Acharya Samantabhadraji Maharaj Saheb practiced here severe penance. On this hill, there are ancient temples but the new idol was recently installed here under the auspices of His Holiness. In the compound of this temple, there are beautifully and artistically made splendid and fascinating replicas of the Siddhakshetras and samovasaran. 2 Dharmshala, guesthouse and school of 700 students are also here. A svetambar temple and a Digambar temple are there on this hill. There is an ancient Digamabar temple where idols of Bhagwan Adinathji, Neminath ji And Mahavir Swami are very attractive.
