In the year 1868 of the vikram era, a splendid Jain temple was built, the splendid idol of Godiji parshvanath was installed in the new temple. This idol gained grandeur and became famous all around. Nearly ten years ago, without shifting the idol of Mulnayak, the temple was renovated like a god’s residence. On the tenth day of the bright half of the month of Vaishakh, a flag is raised every years.In this locality and in the city of Mumbai, there are many splendid temples, upashraya, jnanabhandars, pathasalas and iyambilshalas.
