Mulnayak: about 115 cms high white idol of Bhagwan Ajitnath in padmasan posture

How to Reach: Shri digamabar Jain atisay kshetra, Banedia is in indore distt and 45 Kms from indore and 29 Kms from Paavima Station of western railway. Bus service to banedia is also available. the 2 Jain temples are in the boundry on the bank of a sarovar (pond). Tirth dharamshala provides the facilities of lodging and boarding.

Historicity: The idol of mulnayak  was installed in V samavat 1548 by one Shah Jeevraj papdiwala. The other idols installed by her wife and mother are also available here. there are 43 idols of 1548 Samvat. These include idols of Bhagwan adinath (one meter), Ajitnath(90 Cms), Chandraprabh (70 Cms), Adinath (85 cms), Ajitnath(80cms). All these idols are of white stone in   padmasan. there are 4 vedis in this temple . The main vedi is dedicated to Bhagwan Ajitnath, another one is dedicated to Bhagwan parsvanath, the another one is dedicated to Bhagwn Shantinath and the fourth one is dedicated to Bhagwan adinath. the second temple is dedicated to Bhagwan parsvanath.

    Thisa temple is also known as  one without foundations andit is told that one yati was carrying this temple in the sky and he was forced to land it here.
