Shri Barhata Tirth

 

How to Reach: Barhata is 40 kms from Gotegaon in Narsingh distt of MP. Bus service is avaialble from Narsinghpura.

Historicity: There is a Ancient jain temple in ruined condition. There are 8 tirthanakar idols in padmamasan made of Black stone. The local population worship these idols as those of Pandavas. The jain idols could also be seen at dropadi temple near the pond.
