Historicity:
The ancient jain temple dates back to samavat
1101 during the period of Bhoj dynasty. The 675 cms high idol was installed during that
time. This place is also known as the ‘Shri Shantinath atisay kshetra’. It is
believed to be the place of tapasya and nirvan of
Shri Manutungaacharya. This place is surrounded by green hills and is very pleasant. A famous shiva temple is also at this place.
