How to Reach: On a small hill near the Drongiri village, 7 Kms from
Malhara which is connected to Satna, Sagar, Mahoba and Harpalpur, Each one is about 100
Kms from Malhara. The nearest railway station of Harpalpur, is at a distance of 96
kilometers. From the foot of the hill, there is an ascent of one kilometer. Bus service
and private vehicles are available. There are steps for climbing the hill. There are board
and lodging provisions at the foot of the hill.
Historicity: It is difficult to estimate the antiquity of this tirth on
the hill. But many temples and ancient ruins show that it is very ancient. This is the
land of penance of Muni Gurudatt. He practised severe penance hereBesides this, there are
27 temples on the hill. Here is the cave where Muni Gurudatt practised severe penance. His
foot-idols are here. There are two other temples at the foot of the hill.
