How to reach: This place is on the bank of river Kshipra and 80 Kms from Indore and 176 Kms from Bhopal. The Jain temples are in Jaisinghpur area.

Historicity: This city is associated with Jainism from ancient times. Here the Bhagwan mahavir Swami had to face upsarg in a Samshan by rudra. The Last Shrut kewali Bhadrabahu has left for South along with king Chandragupta Maurya as a Jain Muni on anticipating 12 years dry spell. This is the nirvana place of Muni Abhayghosh. A museum of Jain idol is behind the Jain Mandir. There are more than 500 idols in this museum.
