The nearest railway station of Nagapura (Durg tirth) is on the Nagpur-howra railway line.
It is at a distance of 24 kilometer from the temple. Bus service and private vehicles are
available. A large new dharmashala and a bhojanashala are there.
Historicity: This very ancient tirth has come to light only recently.
This idol was got installed by King Pradeshi who was awakened by Keshiswami. It was
installed nearly thirty-sven years ago. This is what historians believe. This idol
installed by Dharanendra and Padmavati and workshipped by gods and goddesses in devlok,
goes on gaining prominence and grandeur day by day. The head of the idol of Gods looks
beautiful with seven hoods on it and the coiled Nagraj is seen beneath this idol in the
cross-legged posture. A shravak was getting a well dug. When it was dug to the depth 44
feet, it got filled up with milk. When the well was dug deeper in order to find out the
secret of this miracle, entwined with living snakes, this idol of God was found. The
non-Jain devotees and Bhuvansinh, the owner of the farm, handed over this idol to the Jain
leaders. After this splendid temple was built, this idol was installed in it. When the
foundation stone of this temple was being laid, a stream of milk shot forth in the
presence of Sadhus. Many such miracles happen even today. Mental, physical and wordly
troubles of devotees are removed by adoring, worshiping and praying to this idol. That is
the reason why this impressive idol of God is called Uvasaggahar Parshvanath.Looking
beautiful with the seven hoods, this wonderful and miraculous idol impresses the devotees
and inspires them to have faith in God. It seems that Nagraj is coiled behind the idol.
The scene is very vivid. This idol remained unknown for a long time and then this tirth
came into light. Religious devotees are urnestly impatient to go to this tirth and worship
God. A replica of the Shetrunjaya tirth, Shri Uvasuggahar Stotra Mandir, Shri Siddhachakra
Mandir etc. are installed here in this splendid temple. This tirth is also famous for
Manibhadravirs miracles.
