Historicity: The Puri is famous for its Jaggan-Nath temple known as Nijmandir..  On the South entrance, an idol of Bhagwan Rishabdev is installed. The main Idols in the temple is of Jaggannath (Srikrishna), Balram and Subhdra. The rath yatra of Puri is world famous. It is celeberated on  the second day of bright moon of Assadha month.
