Historicity: Seth Sanvalldas Davada Built this temple and installed the large idol of Bhagwan Adinath under the auspices of the disciples of Acharya Ratnasurishvarji in the year 1526 of the Vikram era. Thinking it to be an idol of gold, Muslims damaged this idol during the Muslim invasion. This white colored idol was then reinstalled. The metal parikar is there even today with the pictures of the twenty four Tirthankars of the past, present and the future groups.The temple of Bhagwan Parshvanath built by Seth Shala Shah is exceedingly splendid. It is in the old Ghati Street here. The painting. of the scenes of the fourteen dreams, the nine plintings plants, the eight mangals and Yakshas and Yakshinis are worth memory
