Historicity: On the tenth day of the dark half of the month of Magasar, the world - beneficent birthday (Janma Kalyanak day ) of Bhagawan in the year 1674 of the Vikram era, this idol appeared from the hollow of the ground. In the year 1688 of the Vikram era, this splendid four - storied temple was built by Bhanji Bhandari and installed under the auspices of Jinchandarsuisvarji. In the year 1975 of the Vikram era, Nemisurisvarji renovated this tirth. Bhandari was an administrative officer of the Jetrana taluk. For some reasons, the king got angry with him and called him to Jodhpur. On the way, he halted at the Kaparada village. As a vow, Bhandari did not take meals before bowing his head to a Jina’s idol. when he saw the idol, he worshipped it and kept his row. He was found innocent and, therefore, when he reached Jodhpur, the king greeted him and gave him a present of 500 silver coins. While returning, he halted at Kapardaji and to the yatri sadhu who had shown him the idol and he narrated the whole story. Under inspiration of the Sadhu he gave the 500 silver coins for building a temple. The sadhu cheerfully put the coins into bag, poured vaskep (scented powdered) over it and gave it to Bhandari . He warned Bhandari not to overturn the bag, before completion of the building. The bag was overturned through a child’s fault and the work remained incomplete. By a divine hint of -His Holiness Acharyashri Jinchandasurishvarji, this idol was found from a Babul forest and it was installed in the nearly build temple in the presence of innumerable devotees in he year 1678 of the Vikram era. Prabhu came to be known as Svayambhu Parshvanath. In this four-storied temple, there is also an idol of Chomukhji. A fair is held here on the fifth day of the bright half of the month of Chaitra.
