Shri
Sevadi Tirth
Mulnayak:
Nearly 127 cms. High, white - colored idol of Bhagawan Shantinath in the Padmasana
posture.
How to reach: The nearest railway station of Falna is at distance of 16
Kilometers, from the temple. Bus Service and Private Vehicles are available. There are
board and lodging provisions.
Historicity: The inscription of 1172 of the Vikram era Shows that
Bhagawan Mahavir Swami was the Mulnayak here. At the time of renovation in the year 2014,
the ancient idol of Bhagawan Shantinath was installed here. All the idols in this temple
seem to belong to the thirteenth century. Once this was a prosperous city. There were as
many as hundred stepped wells. Even today, the stepped well-named Jetal is very large and
beautiful. If archaeologists are asked to dig here, a lot of historical material can be
found here. A flag is hoisted here every year on the third day of the bright half of the
month of Fagan. There is another temple named Vasupujaya Vatika, installed in the year
1982 of the Vikram era. The idols of Gajalaxmi and of Saraswatidevi are artistic and
attractive.
