Shri Bahelana Tirth

 

Mulnayak: Idol of Bhagwan Parsvanath

How to reach: This Tirth is 5 kms from the town of muzzfarnagar of Up on Delhi Haridwar road. While going towards haridwar, it is 5 Kms before Muzaffarnagar on the left side of the Highway. There is a gate bearing board of ‘ shri digamabar Jain atisay kshetra Bahalana’ the temple complex is  about 1 km from the National highway. There is arrangements for boarding and lodging  for the pilgrims.

Historicity:This Tirth was earlier known as behra nagar. There was ahuge fort with four gates. Now only one gate is is intact. The idol of Bhagwan Parsvanath is very miraculous and people are much impressed and obliged to the Rakshak dev- dharendera and padavamati for fulfilling their wishes. The Jain Muni Shri 108  suparsva Sagar and shri 108 Bodh sagar ji observed final samadhi at this place. Besides, the manastambh and panduk shila is also very attractive.
